  • Discuss key points from the self-study modules. Describe the statutes and regulations applicable to treatment and management of patients with chronic ailments, BHT, SUD, hospital admissions and other health conditions.
  • Identify the signage, reporting, documentation and reporting requirements to patients, other health care providers and public health agencies for services provided. Demonstrate the procedures for conducting a systematic assessment and identify normal and critical findings with proper chart documentations.
  • Create a process and schedule for the physician to review the pharmacist’s actions under the protocol. Identify a process and schedule for the pharmacist to notify the physician of the patient’s condition, LABS , and course of treatment.
  • Develop a written protocol that includes all legally required components for legally authorized disease states and appropriate lab testing required for pharmacogenetic applications.
